Anna's knowledge, skills, and passion for athletics are not limited to one area of expertise. Over the last 35 years, she has been a gymnast, a collegiate Division 1 soccer player at Ohio State University, an Ironman triathlete, a marathon runner, bike racer, and rock climber. Anna is a Certified Personal Trainer, Hiking & Cycling Guide, Certified TRX Group Fitness Instructor, Yoga Instructor, Cycle Spinning Instructor, Club and High School Varsity Coach. Throughout all of her athletic endeavors, yoga, strength training, and meditation have been a throughline for her athletic achievements helping her stay injury-free, resilient, driven, and disciplined. Anna's vast fitness repertoire also includes nutrition education and the use of herbal remedies and medicine for health and wellness. She is a consultant for a herbal medicinal company and prepares delicious healthy meals for the various dietary needs of her clients.
Anna moved to San Diego in 1999 after graduating with an Exercise Physiology B.S. and Sports Management M.A. from The Ohio State University. In her spare time, she enjoys being in nature, hiking and rock climbing locally or in the Sierras, surfing, cycling, and traveling.
